    Agentic transformation is a change-management problem before it is a tooling problem. Organizations often begin with scattered experimentation: one team uses coding agents, another tests support automation, another blocks AI entirely. The result is uneven capability, inconsistent risk controls, and employee anxiety about what the technology means for their role.

    Good change management starts with narrative clarity. Leaders should explain that agents are being introduced to redesign work, not simply to cut headcount. That claim must be backed by behavior. If employees only hear productivity targets, they will rationally treat AI as a threat. If they see training, role redesign, better tooling, and transparent governance, adoption becomes more credible.

    The next step is enablement. Teams need training on task framing, review, security, and workflow design. They also need sanctioned environments where experimentation is safe. A ban on experimentation drives usage underground. Unlimited experimentation creates risk.
